I am in the process of creating a series of new paintings which involve some mixed media. Themes from nature - birds - trees - flowers. I am also in gear and painting commissions of pups and kitties again. Just finished a sweet doberman and a golden retriever pup! May 2 & 3 -Artwalk at the Promenade- 1st Ever Artwalk at the Promenade shopping area in Bollingbrook IL. Saturday May 2nd - 10am to 6pm & Sunday 3rd, 2009 11am to 6pm Sunday.
The center stays open till 9pm on Saturday. Revel in the year’s newness and welcome the spring in style! Join us the weekend before Mother’s Day for the festivities! 80 plus artists and a full schedule of music throughout both days.The Promenade Bolingbrook is an open air shopping district featuring specialty shops and restaurants.

May 30 & 31 - Do-Division Street Fest - Division Street between Ashland Ave & Levitt
12pm - 10pm. The Do-Division Street Fest and Sidewalk Sale spans 10 city blocks, on Division Street from Ashland to Leavitt, and features a live music stage sponsored by Empty Bottle, a wide variety of high quality food offered by Division Street restaurants, plenty of ice cold beer, unique kid's activities, dog activities, and an elaborate Sidewalk Sale put on by Division Street Merchants.

June 27-28 - Custer's Last Stand, Festival of the Arts - Evanston, IL
10am - 9pm . 350 Artists and craftspeople from across the nation come together on the third weekend of June every year to exhibit and sell paintings, ceramics, pottery, photographs, jewelry, graphic arts, wearable art, country and home craft, antiques and collectables. They are joined by 150 local businesses and commercial exhibitors who put on an old fashioned Sidewalk Sale.

July 11-12 -WestFest - Chicago Avenue between Damen & Wood streets, Chicago, IL
12pm - 10pm - West Town's eclectic street festival full of artists, food vendors, music and PetFest. Check out their website for more info. I had a great time at this festival last year! Hope to see you out!

July 25-26 -North Shore Festival of Art- Skokie, IL - Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center at the intersection of Golf Road and Skokie Boulevard - Saturday & Sunday, 10AM-5PM
This festival has a long and rich history in the North Shore. Located in Skokie, The North Shore Festival of Art is a free, two-day, fine art festival showcasing 150 juried artists from all across the United States and Canada. The artists display stunning works in a large variety of mediums, including painting, photography, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood and more!

August 29-30 -24rd Annual Bucktown Arts Fest - Senior Citizens Park (corner of Oakley and Lyndale Aves - 2300 W/2300N) 11am-7pm - Art, in all its forms, has been the sole focus of the Bucktown Arts fest since its inception in 1985. From its roots as a small gathering of local artisans to its current incarnation as one of Chicago’s premier gatherings of painters, sculptors, photographers and craftspeople (not to mention musicians, actors, poets, and dancers), the fest puts the spotlight squarely on that mysterious amalgam of inspiration and perspiration that delights the eye and stirs the soul.
